This climbing-inspired, adjustable lead and tether system offers you maximum flexibility on the go. Whether on a crag, in a café or on any adventure in between – the Hitch Hiker™ adapts to any situation.

The adjustable waist belt can be used as a comfortable handle for the lead, as a waist belt for hands-free lead control, or for tethering to a single tree or post. With over 3.5 metres of rope, you can switch seamlessly between a long and short lead thanks to the ergonomic HitchLock™ rope lock.

The system is designed for manual length adjustment and locks as soon as the rope is under tension. A durable storage pouch keeps the excess rope neatly tucked away. The Hitch Hiker™ thus combines the advantages of a lead rope and a tow rope in one lightweight, versatile system.

Inspired by climbing

Just like in climbing, the Hitch Hiker™ relies on reliable equipment and correct handling. The HitchLock™ locking mechanism locks the rope when under tension, but – as with climbing – requires active control by the user. A slack rope must therefore be guided and controlled by hand.
